WHY I BUILT TENDN

Tendn is a tool for clinicians learning to scan. It scores image quality in real time, coaches you towards better technique, and tracks your progress over time. I'll be using it alongside my own MSK ultrasound training - I built it because I needed it.

FEATURES

Everything you need to practise properly.

Six tools, one app, designed around how clinicians learn ultrasound.

Curriculum

A structured pathway through the anatomies that matter. Each anatomy has its own learning objectives, reference images, and scanning targets. Modelled on existing syllabi and guidelines.

Real-time Quality Scoring

Every frame analysed against multiple anatomy-specific quality benchmarks as you scan. Red, amber, green feedback in real time so you know the quality of the image that you're capturing - frame by frame.

Live Coaching Prompts

Specific, anatomy-aware corrective prompts as you scan. Probe angle, depth, positioning - Tendn tells you what to adjust based on what your scan is actually showing.

Library

Your personal record of every scanning session. Saved scans and videos, session reports, and supervisor feedback - all in one place. Searchable, reviewable, exportable. Your scanning portfolio, building itself.

Supervisor Feedback

Share scanning sessions with a supervisor for review. They leave structured feedback on your images and videos and sign off on competency milestones, allowing you to have a clear record to refer back to.

Progress Card

Your scanning, charted over time. See your scores trend upwards by anatomy, by parameter, by month. Spot the techniques you've mastered, and the ones still holding you back.

Still Have Questions?

Email us at hello@tendn.app and we'll get back to you.

Who is Tendn for?

Tendn is for anyone learning musculoskeletal ultrasound. Doctors, physiotherapists, sonography students, paramedics, advanced clinical practitioners, medical students - and qualified clinicians who want to track and improve their scanning. If you're using a probe and want to know the quality of your images, Tendn is for you.

Do I need new equipment?

No. Tendn works with the handheld probe and phone or tablet that you already use. There's no new hardware to buy and no extra setup. You scan exactly the way you already do - Tendn sits over your existing scanning workflow and gives you real-time quality scoring on every frame.

How do I get involved with the beta?

Sign up for early access using the form below. We're enrolling beta users in waves - early users get hands-on input into how the product develops and priority access as we expand. Spots are limited as we work through onboarding.

How much does it cost?

We haven't set pricing yet. The beta is free for selected users. When we launch publicly, pricing will be straightforward - a monthly subscription with options for individuals and institutions. Beta users will have privileged access to early pricing.

Who's behind Tendn?

Tendn is built by Dr Hasan Iqbal - a GP Registrar working in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the UK. The patent for Tendn's anatomy-adaptive scoring system was filed in April 2026.
